Child Safety Standards
1. Our commitment
OneTroupe is operated by VYW & CO., based in Ontario, Canada. OneTroupe is a professional networking platform for adults working in the creative industries and is not directed at children. We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in every form, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, and any attempt to use OneTroupe to contact, solicit, or harm a minor.
2. Who may use OneTroupe
You must be at least 17 years old to create an account, and we ask for your date of birth at sign-up to enforce that rule. Accounts that belong to people under the minimum age are removed when we become aware of them.
3. What is prohibited
- Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, or linking to any sexual content involving a minor, including drawn, animated, or AI-generated content.
- Sexualising a minor in profiles, posts, clips, messages, communities, or job and casting listings.
- Grooming, sextortion, or any attempt to arrange contact with a minor for sexual purposes.
- Using OneTroupe to advertise, trade, or seek such content anywhere.
These rules apply to every surface of the app, including private messages.
4. How we enforce them
Every profile, post, clip, community, and conversation can be reported from inside the app. Reports involving a minor are reviewed first, and we act on them as soon as we confirm the report. Enforcement includes removing the content, terminating the account, blocking the person from creating new accounts, and preserving the evidence so it can be provided to law enforcement.
Confirmed CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the Canadian Centre for Child Protection, and we cooperate with law enforcement requests.
5. How to report
In the app: open the content or profile, choose Report, and select the child safety option. Reports are reviewed by a person.
By email: support@onetroupe.com with "Child safety" in the subject line. This address is monitored and is the designated point of contact for child safety concerns, including for app store and regulatory inquiries.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
6. Compliance with law
We comply with applicable child safety laws, including the Criminal Code of Canada, the United States REPORT Act and related provisions of 18 U.S.C. 2258A, and the child safety requirements of the app stores on which OneTroupe is distributed. We review these standards at least once a year and whenever the law or the product changes.
